Hello :D
Looking for info, Lance Corporal Arthur ?Darkie? Harrison, formerly of the Royal Engineers, served in No.1 (later becoming No.101) Troop of No.6 Commando from 1940 (Scarborough) until, at least 6th September 1941.
He later remained in No.6 Commando until, at least, June 1944.
Later as a Lance Sergeant he was awarded the Military Medal on 1st June 1945 when he was reported as being ?late of No.1 Troop?.
I have not found him at CWG
Any relatives with info :?: or anyone come across Arthur ?Darkie? Harrison during their research :?:
I am researching the role played by "Swordfish" 101 Troop and their eventual formation into No 2 "SBS" Special Boat Section, now known as Special Boat Service 8)
Thanks :-)
Colin
