Hello :D

Looking for info, Gunner John Gilmour, formerly of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, served with No.1 (later No.101) Troop of No.6 Commando from 1940 in Scarborough until, at least, March 1942 when No.101 Troop moved to No.2 Special Boat Section.

I have not found him at CWG

Any relatives with info :?: or anyone come across John Gilmour during their research :?:

I am researching the role played by "Swordfish" 101 Troop and their eventual formation into No 2 "SBS" Special Boat Section, now known as Special Boat Service 8)

Thanks :-)

Colin
