Sgt. Derek C. Ellis. MM, 101 Troop, No6 Cdo

Hello :D

Looking for info, Private Derek C. Ellis, formerly of the Shrosphire Regiment, served with No.1 (later No.101) Troop of No.6 Commando from 1940 (in Scarborough) until, at least, 13th March 1942.

He later joined No.2 SBS, was promoted to Sergeant and was awarded the Military Medal.

I have not found him at CWG

Any relatives with info :?: or anyone come across Derek C. Ellis during their research :?:

I am researching the role played by "Swordfish" 101 Troop and their eventual formation into No 2 "SBS" Special Boat Section, now known as Special Boat Service 8)
