Hi Nick
There is a previous post about him here. Ronald 'Ken' Young of No.9 Commando who has since died mentioned him, and described him as
" a bloody fine troop sergeant major":
As I said at the time " Thats a great tribute from one soldier about another "
http://www.commandoveterans.org/cdoForum/posts/list/1267.page
He also took part in what became known as Callf's charge at the Wadi at Anzio. Major Callf MC wrote of thisand it can be read on this link:
http://www.commandoveterans.org/cdoForum/posts/list/15/1066.page
It would be great if there were any pictures of him from his army days so we could place a tribute in our gallery
Pete

Hello Nick. As Pete has mentioned Ken Young spoke about Frank Walsh. I was fortunate to of known Ken for the past eleven years and just before he passed away he told me one thing he wondered about was what become of Frank. I posted a message on the forum over a year ago for Ken but had no reply. It would be great if you could tell us about frank. Ken spoke highly of him. Regards Marc.
