Hello Milan and welcome to the CVA.
The two men you mentioned were actually members of 10IA Commando 3 troop ( aka X troop). Members of 3 troop never fought as a full troop, rather they were attached, in small numbers such as 2 or 3, when needed to other Commando Units. They were given new names and identities due to the fact that many were from countries under German occupation, and many were of the Jewish faith. Corporal Maurice Latimer, a Czech whose former name was Moritz Levy or possibly Loewy, is in our gallery in a picture taken at Walcheren whilst attached to 41RM Commando. He also fought at Dieppe and Normandy and this is maybe where the No. 3 Commando link comes in.

Richard Tennant, whose former name was Richard Trojan, and Maurice Latmer are both named in a photo of 10IA Commando 3 troop supplied to us by CVA member and former 3 troop 10IA Commando, Colin Anson. Richard Tennant is actually in the photo. That photo can be seen here :

You may also be interested in this link to a message on our forum where Colin Anson, amongst other things, describes an incident in which Maurice Latimer was involved:

Finally their details are also recorded on the link to the Jewish Virtual Library on this link:
