Gunner Harvey of No.4 Commando was killed in action at Flushing on the 1st November 1944. I was very pleased to meet up again with his son at Fort William for this years Remembrance Service. Bill has now sent me some information and photos of his father and I have posted them in the main gallery and also in a personal album for his father within the No.4 Commando 'In Remembrance' album:

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
