It is with much sadness that I inform you of the passing of Johannes Gerardus (Gé) Florisson on the 24th September 2010. Gé served with No. 2 Dutch troop of 10IA Commando. Jack Bakker sent these details to me.

Last September another member of No 2 Dutch Troop, Gé Florisson, also died. He was in the same batch as Eddy Smeets. Gé Florisson stayed in the Army after the war to become a Warrant Officer 1. He retired from the Army in 1983.
