My sister in law Ann who is a family friend of Frank and Marion has just rung me to say that Frank has died. This is terrible news. Frank was a lovely man. I was at his home the other week admiring his commando items on the wall and was thinking that I miust get a photo of him stood with them He had lent me a good book on the SAS which im half way through .We 'll all miss him. RIP Frank

A very sad loss. Frank was a staunch supporter of the CVA and indeed helped Vic Ralph in the very early days to get the Association up and running.

Our thoughts and condolences go to Marion and her family in their time of sadness.

Thanks for everything Frank, God Bless and Rest in Peace.

Details of Frank's funeral will be posted as soon as we hear anything.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Frank and Marion were always so very kind and welcoming to Bob and I. He will be remembered.

My love to Marion and the family.

This is very sad news.

Frank was for many years Vice Chairman of the Lincoln Branch CA and then the CVA.

I met him there and was fortunate to serve with him on the committee.

Frank was a warm and friendly man full of enthusiasm and always very possitive in his outlook............he was very proud of his involvement and the realisation of the memorial at Alrewas.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Marion and his family at this sad time.

Rest in Peace old friend.

It was a real honour to have met Frank in Fort William the past couple of years, where he was only too happy to share stories of his Black Watch and Commando days.

Rest in Peace Frank.
