78 years ago. We remember them.

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.

In Memory of the seven commandos executed 79 years ago this month and Sergeant Erling Magnus Djupdræt, a Norwegian scout, who was fatally wounded after evading capture, and all who took part in the raid.

80 years ago this month. Seven of the ten commandos who took part were captured and later executed at Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. They are remembered on the Brookwood Memorial.
