I have recently added some photos to the gallery concerning the above officer who was killed in action at Dragone Hill Salerno on the the 13th September 1943. These photos were sent in by his great nephew who had contacted the CVA. I was able to assist him with details about his great uncle which I have included alongside his pictures on this link. (You will read that a Gunner Charles Dettmer was with him at the time of his death. I will create a new forum message with some information about this man)

I hope that Colin MacArthur who provided the photos will soon become another member of the CVA resident in Canada.
