Having just read this post and seen the names of the Commandos on board ML 267 posted by Bernard, it should be noted that 8 of the 11 Commandos on board did not survive after the ML was hit by heavy gunfire and had to be abandoned.
All the Commando fallen on ML 267 were from No.2 Cdo:

In Memory of :

Regimental Sergeant Major Alan Moss
Sergeant Gerald Taylor
Lance Corporal Edward Bryan
Lance Corporal John Coughlan
Lance Corporal William Hay
Private Henry Cunningham
Private Thomas Diamond
Private Jesse Maylott

and the fallen from the crew of ML 267 :

Lieutenant Eric Beart (RNVR)
Leading Stoker Edward Chick
Motor Mechanic Eric Kenningham
Motor Mechanic Sydney Roots
Stoker 1st class William Oliphant
Able Seaman John Leech
Able Seaman Albert Sheppard
Ordinary Seaman Gordon Bell
Ordinary Seaman Arthur Bartlett
Ordinary Seaman Harold Westcott
Telegraphist David Steele

At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

That's a cracking photo. Can you just confirm this is Lance Corporal Robert Cockin ? I will add the whole photo to our gallery and add the cropped image of him to our Commando archive entry here: http://www.commandoveterans.org/RobertCockin2Commando

Can you advise me the name of the person to add the credit to the photo ?
